Born August 31st 1985. A writer. A poet. A musician. A theologian. A coder. A skateboarder. A geek. A husband. A father.
I have been coding in ColdFusion sinse I was 15 for The Geekteam. I've used several frameworks, and invented a couple. I'm well versed in SQL, especially the mySQL flavor. I am proficient in Javascript, and currently prefer the jQuery framework.
I always wanted to be a writer and write books, as well as movie scripts. I also wanted to create video games. I invented a perpetual motion machine in my early teens, but never had a working prototype.
At about the same time I started taking a romantic interest in girls I realized I could write poetry (which came in handy). I found the formula for simple poetry is quite simple, start with an idea, find parallels and search through synonyms til you find a pair that rhyme (pare of parallels that is), and once a rough verse is constructed examine the semantics until it can be read to flow with a consistent beat. I still write some, but less and less of it gets posted.
I'm extremely conservative, in a radical sense. I believe in a God, that there is indeed an all powerful force that created the universe. I believe that He is the Father of life, who communicates to us through His Spirit. I believe that He did move certain men in years past to write down His laws, and history of His grace so we are able to read that and know how we are to respond. I believe this Word, the Word of God is contained in it's entirety in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. I believe that everything contained in that Book is indeed History, and everything recorded did happen. That the world was created by Him in 6 days, and in the last days God walked with man on Earth, showing His love for us, coming in the person of Jesus Christ, who being the Son of God, was God, and also man, did come live among men, and then died at the hands of men, as was foreordained so that he could take the punishment we deserve. I also very firmly believe that He did rise again after 3 days, and is even now seated at the right hand on the Father, and lives to make intersession for us, forgiving our transgressions, and sympathizing for us, as He too was man, and knows the weakness we face.
This same conservatism applies to my political views as well. I think the government should stop taking care of us, and just let us keep our tax money so we can afford our own health care.
